Sixty Is Not The Age To Worry
Dear friends,
Please, read my poem in the comments.
Dear friends,
Please, read my poem in the comments.
Sixty is not the age to worry
Seventy is not the age to be in a hurry.
So why should you count the years,
When the soul your age bares
You better open the door as before.
At eighty you knock at the door.
Don't judge me for my carelessness,
I would like to feel fearlessness
In mathematics, eight is infinity!
If I reach this date it'll be my dignity.
I will know that I was lucky,
And someone will call me Ducky.
I’ll celebrate this anniversary...
Well, it is not so far as ninety.
This age will be my bounty.
When the centennial anniversary comes.
Without feeling any alarm.
I'll be an example of a lady calm.
On the centenary, I'll drink to start the party.
The first glass will be just hearty
I'll remember those who didn't come
And my favorite song will be a real charm.
I'll forget about all my worries and troubles
And I will start blowing funny bubbles.
Let's then live cheerfully and loudly,
So that we live our lives proudly.

I never thought I'd reach my allegedly allotted three-score years and ten, but I managed it. Into the bonus years now.
