The Four New MUSKateers
This sonnet critiques the dangerous alliance between powerful tech moguls and a corrupt political figure, symbolised by the "four musketeers" who bow to Trump’s person, influence and might. It explores their sycophantic behaviour, the manipulation of media, and the betrayal of values for profit and power. The poem hopefully paints a chilling portrait of cowardice dressed as strength and the erosion of freedom in the face of unchecked ambition.
Four craven musketeers bow to the beast,
Their spines for sale, their hearts devoid of flame.
Elon the Felon plots his data feast,
To buy the minds of youth and stake his claim.
Crooked Cook preaches hate with hollow grin,
Beneath his guise, a zealot's twisted art.
Bezo the Bozo spins his tales within,
Corrupting news, a truthless counterpart.
Zuckzilla rules his vile, decaying lair,
Where lies breed hatred, fanned by profit's might.
All kneel to Trump, to keep their dreams in care,
Their cowardice now dressed as strength in sight.
They kiss the madman's ring, his wrath they fear—
While freedom weeps, their treachery draws near.

Yes, Rolph. Loyalty no longer enough, fealty demanded and grovellingly given.
Thanks for this.
