I believed
I believed, because we believe all the time.
We believe in the structures around us,
in what we were taught, in the promises made to us.
I believed in what was given to me as certain,
in love that is, at the same time, a bond and a prison.
But time, that relentless teacher,
showed me that truth is plural,
that certainties fade away,
that the world is complex,
and that true freedom comes from the ability to question.
Belief is perhaps the first step towards freedom.
But it takes more than belief – we need to understand, reflect,
question ideologies, standards, norms.
Freedom is not a destination, but a continuous process of transformation.
I believed, but now I know that believing is not the final solution.
It moves us, yes, but it’s not enough.
It is necessary to act, transform, understand the forces that shape us.
Love, politics, society – all these elements interfere,
and we are responsible for our choices within this game.
I found myself in a world of constant change,
and, although I don’t have all the answers,
I believe in the power of critical thinking,
in the importance of autonomy and individual responsibility
as the foundation for a more just society.
I believe, and in my belief there is action,
a commitment to what is possible, to what we can transform.
I believe it is possible to be free,
but this freedom requires not just faith,
but the courage to question what has been imposed on us,
to fight for what is right.
