Trumpkin Pumpkin (rehashed)

entry picture

He has a large orange pumpkin head
a carved out hollow space
Lit up by small candles
an evil expression on his face

His facial features are etched out
triangles for eyes and nose
Sports an uneven, crooked smile
with teeth cut into jagged rows

His name is Jack o lantern
he keeps evil spirits away
Here for the night of Halloween
cast aside by All Saints Day

Now I know what you are thinking
you know you recognise that face
Glowing but not in a good way
that smug expression fixed in place

He sports a smirky, crooked smile
a complacent, conceited pose
Disguises himself as human
but no humanity he shows

He is the famous Donald Trumpkin
bully tactics are his ways
The President of America
hope he’s gone in a few days
