The Wrecking Ball of Democracy Incarnate

A chilling warning about the state of American democracy, as power consolidates under the hands of a few. With Trump and Musk at the helm, the nation’s soul is being dismantled, and the world trembles at the impending rise of a new dictatorship. This poem tries to capture the essence of a regime fuelled by greed, secrecy, and the crushing of basic freedoms, marking a dark chapter in history.

A wrecking ball of power swings,
Democracy shatters, freedom stings.
Trump, the architect of this fall,
Grinds the Constitution to the wall.

Rights discarded, laws defied,
A nation’s spirit swept aside.
Birthright stolen, voices hushed,
Loyalty demanded, truth is crushed.

A man with billions, Musk’s the name,
Commands the power, fuelling the flame.
Deals struck in secret, profit gained,
While the nation’s pulse is drained.

He sits atop the nation’s core,
With keys to every vital door.
Contracts flow to feed his might,
While justice fades from view and sight.

Departments gutted, bodies fired,
The people's needs no longer desired.
America’s heart, once vast and free,
Reduced to a pawn in this oligarchy.

The Court stands silent, robed in shame,
Its judges nod as Trump lays claim.
Congress bows, the Senate cheers,
No one left to halt these gears.

Laws ignored and rights undone,
With every nod, the end's begun.
Those sworn to shield the people's trust,
Now feed the fire of power's lust.

Justice falters, the courts betrayed,
The truth denied, in darkness laid.
A system bent, laws torn apart,
As power festers in one man's heart.

Bureaucracy slain, a people's trust,
Eroded by greed, abandoned by must.
A regime born from corporate greed,
A nightmare dressed as “helpful deed.”

Even Hitler in his darkest days
Would envy Trump’s unholy pace.
What took him years to seize and break,
Trump destroys in days for power’s sake.

Faster than tyrants ever rose,
He strikes the heart and deals his blows.
A throne of lies at lightning speed,
Built on rage and fed by greed.

The masses suffer, they fade and fall,
As Trump and Musk will seize it all.
A third term whispered, a promise long,
But democracy is already gone.

We stand on the edge, the world in fear,
As freedom dies and power draws near.
This is no game, this is no show,
A new dictator’s rise begins to grow.

America's future, written in sand,
Destroyed by the greed of one man's hand.
Not just a nation, but the world it quakes,
A tyrant’s dream, a people’s stakes.
