Wake-Up Call

I used to believe that
The wind would carry me
And that I’d go with it’s flow,
But nothing really lifted me up
Until I rigorously learned
To harness the wind.

I began confessing;
Letting the free flow of words
That were stuffed in
The bottom of my heart.

I took the flights and hit the roads
Until my second thoughts
Were truly surmounted.

If I’d waited for the right time,
It’d taken half of forever
For me to post the letter
That’d provide happiness.

I smile at times
Because my mind knows now
That if I’d waited for
Serendipity to occur,
I’d forever remain a mystery
Or a perpetual cinephile
In the make-believe world.

Manish, you’ve captured something so powerful in your journey. It’s inspiring how you went from waiting for life to carry you, to learning how to take control and harness your own path. By letting go of doubts and taking action, you found real growth and happiness. Your realisation that waiting for serendipity would have kept you stuck in a fantasy is a beautiful reminder to embrace life as it comes, and create your own truth. It’s a message of empowerment and living fully.
Kind regards,
Rolph
