The Beauty OF What's Left

Your smile still illuminates the darkest corners of my mind,
A radiant beacon that refuses to fade with time.
You were a fleeting moment, a story unfinished and untold,
Yet your presence occupies the space where memories unfold.

My fondest recollections, once warm and bright,
Now envy the space you claim in my mind's sight.
They whisper secrets of a love so true and pure,
But your presence eclipses the memories I once cherished and adored.

How can such brief moments take up so much space,
A canvas of my soul where love's brushstrokes fill the place?

For so long, I defined love by time and space,
But our path taught me that matters of the heart embrace
The infinite and eternal, beyond mortal bounds and fears,
Where love shines brighter than the day's wounds and all its tears.
