Blind Eyes

Echoes of you remain, a haunting refrain
A summer breeze that soothed my soul's deep pain
Your voice, a gentle melody that filled my days
A symphony of love that chased my darkest ways

But now, I question the truth I thought I knew
A vision blurred by love's distorted view
I search for answers in the eyes that once shone bright
Seeking the reality that ended our delight

Time, a mirror, reflects the past
Exposing flaws that love's blind eyes forecast
I ponder what could've been, what went awry
A canvas of love, with flaws that caught my eye

Your beauty once reflected in my own
A radiant glow that made my heart feel home
But flaws prevail, and reality takes its toll
A truth my heart cannot deny, a love that's lost its soul.
