What is the world we live in? well where do I start 
Start with the feelings that come from deep in my heart 

For some there are reasons facing each day is tough
For some there’s too much for others never enough  

For some live a life filled with love, hope, joy and dreams 
For some there’s only grief, stress, strain and fear it seems

The world we live in has to be shared by us all 
We all have a part no matter how big or small 

If we all played our part with kindness and grace 
The world we live in would be a much better place
