I cried like a baby
I cried like a baby
By Alvin Culzac
Just like a zombie dancing with destiny
I fell into the pit of fallacious philosophy
So I went to the Preacher
Got on my knees and pleaded
‘Preacher please, won’t you help me?’
But he turned his back and said
‘I’d like to son, but it can’t be done
Because you’ve been singing the wrong songs.’
So I cried and I cried like a baby
Yeah, I cried and I cried like a baby.
After the Preacher
I went to see the Pope
I said ‘Pope I got no hope
Won’t you help me?’
He said, ‘yes I can, if you are Catholic’
I replied, ‘well I’m not, but
I’ll accept your blessings anyway’
He ripped his cassock to shreds
Pointed his finger and said
‘Man you are a disgrace
Get the hell out of my face.’
So I cried and I cried like a baby
Yeah, I cried and I cried like a baby.
After the Pope
I went to visit my lady
She’s a Queen; I know she won’t desert me
I said Queen I’m homeless and lost
Won’t you help me?’
She took off her crown, tossed it to the ground
Whilst screaming invectives at my temerity
She then ordered her guards to eject me.
So I cried and I cried like a baby
Yeah, I cried and I cried like a baby.
After the Queen
I did a review of my place in society
And realised there was no one to help me
So I wrote my own songs
Formed my own religion
And when it all went wrong
I cried and I cried like a baby
Yeah, I cried and I cried like a baby.

This is done with perfection. Enjoyed the humoorous side of this song-poem. You have done fanatstic job!
Thank you,
Zuzanna
