pteradactyl
dull metal heavy grey bird
pinkingshear shut scream and screech
coming down out of the sky
onto my head knocking me
onto the rainsplashed paindashed pavement
dull metal heavy grey bird
pinkingshear shut scream and screech
coming down out of the sky
onto my head knocking me
onto the rainsplashed paindashed pavement
A message from Maria:

Thanks again Ann - I would agree with Maria - that is a great line - also the pinkingshear shut scream and screech - not many people use pinkingshears anymore - they hold vivid memories for me - one of my brother's once cut his fringe with some - it left a dreadful mess! Isobel x
I just popped this on inspired by Isobel's daughter's poem. I wrote this one when I was fourteen. I can only remember this bit! Must have had too much toasted cheese before I went to bed the night before I wrote it I think! ;-)
