Measuring The Moment ( Listening To The Seashell)

entry picture

Can you hear the nothing to nowhere wind?

Measuring a moment

Somewhere lost in the far away

The never to come or go again

Sunset

Red strokes of night slash bleeding to the edge

White sands stinging

Crystal kissing

Brownest eyes and tumbling hair

Pretty toes and yellow shells

Measuring a moment

Steps out of time for all time

Returning to the sea

The sound of the sea

The sea

Like this, but particularly the first three lines and 'The never to come or go again' - very poignant. Life's full of those moments where everything can change in an instant - washed out to sea, I guess

This is lovely, Gus, the speaking of it a pure music in the sound of its words and their syntax. The thought ebbs and flows too, until you grasp it like a piece of floating seaweed and hold it in your hand, and mind. I wonder why no one has commented; perhaps the layout is a bit too disjointed, or too large in font, to hold the thought together in our 'computer screen venue'?
