05.04.11 - 5) Sat waiting for the morning flight

In Austin it'll still be night

Not as bad as I first feared paperwork ok customs cleared

Suitcase labelled and taken away we’ll meet again in the USA

Watching other travellers passing by old and young ready to fly

Maybe for a specific reason or maybe it’s their holiday season

My flight to Austin is in three stages over 17 hours seems like ages

Arrivals coming in at gate 3 wonder if home they’re glad to be

Irish couple flying to Espana get there today not man Jana

Strangers when we first sat then like friends we began to chat

Called to their flight no time to dwell so we wished each other well

And to each others delight a further wish for a pleasant flight .
