08.04.11: Festival started yesterday with open mic, been to various events more to come meanwhile journey continues

05.04.11 - 6) For take off waiting engine power not abating

Plane slightly vibrating, now just waiting for the throttles extra thrust

Safety checks ok, that’s it we’re away

Pilot’s skill instinctively feel when to lift the nose wheel

Nose wheel lifted, Power shifted

Everything alright that’s it we’re in flight

Ears popping, there’s no stopping

Up in the air and turning, whoops that’s my stomach churning

Above the clouds like cotton wool when viewed from the inside of an aircraft hull

Now some turbulence hit the plane, whoops there goes my stomach again

So we’re to Amsterdam bound hopefully safely on the ground

Landing safely whatever the weather, with my stomach and me still together
