The line-up for Lancaster Spotlight on Friday 20 May at The Storey auditorium, Meeting House Lane, Lancaster, includes poets Ann Wilson, who hosts the Spoken Word open mic at the Brewery arts centre in Kendal; Jim Turner, whose poems appeared in An Elastic Sky, published by Flax; and Mike de Tore, recently retired after teaching at a local high school,  who took up poetry three years ago. Compered by Simon Baker, doors open at 8, with open mic from 8.30 to 9.  Entry £4 (£2 concessions).
