Write Out Loud regular David Cooke is launching his first collection, In the Distance, in more than 20 years on Friday 17 June at the open mic Poets Cafe, Reading. In The Distance is available from Night Publishing  on Amazon. A further collection, Work Horses, will be coming out next year from Ward Wood Publishing.  The Reading event, at South Street arts centre, is at 8pm for 8.30 start. Entry is £6 / £4 concs and poets.
