Two aspects of loneliness

The business meeting dealt with the business

The express train dealt with the journey home

Then comes the time that is, for some, hardest

How to pass time usefully on your own

The teenage wasteland where nothing was grown

The bitter, fruitless taste, the frittered age

Of youth descending in stages, outgrown

By useful truth unknown, useless knowledge

Acquired at home. But the time to engage

Approached; reproached by twin sex and success

Dragged out of bed, drugged, into new beds thrown

Alone no more, but still I turned the page

Sought company from books that cost me less

Than people; brought me peace in crowded home

◄ A flatful of dust

Two wheels good ►

Hi Antonio, quite deep for you, and although I don't fully understand it, sounds like a bit of fear and apprehension there, Jeff ps thanks for your comment, I agree it seems that those who care most tend to be those with little anyway. Have a good break!

I can think of something useful to do at home alone, but admittedly, it's better with two.
Parts of this one made me smile and yet there's a sadness too. Strange range of emotions Antonioni.

Hello, Antonio

Deep psychological poem - All makes sense in todays fast pace world. I hope it will not get any worse then it is. Wishful thinking, I guess...?

Thank you for the comment on my latest addition "Tribute to Soldiers"

Have a great short holiday!

Take care,
Zuzanna

Hi mate,

I have to say these days I'm very scared of that crowded home.
