entry picture

At least 25 locations in Britain will be holding events on Saturday 24 September to mark 100 Thousand Poets for Change, a global phenomenon in more than 100 countries organised by US poet and editor Michael Rothenberg “to celebrate/demonstrate poetry and address issues of peace and sustainability”. The UK list of locations where events will be taking place includes Bath, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Cheshire, Cumbria, Devon, Exeter, Hebden Bridge, Hertfordshire, Kingston, London (at least five), Manchester, Medway, Newcastle, Norfolk, Oxford, Southend, Totnes, and Wirral. If we have left you out of the above list,  or if you want to tell us more about your particular UK event, do let us know by commenting on this news item!
