Turn eyes!

Pretend I'm not here!

Do not look at me with disgust.

Laziness

is not the reason I am here.

Some a job's loss to be in

my shoes.

This is a more cameo style poem.

Hi Shirley, just checking this out. Bang on with the sentiment. You've probably heard off the Big Issue magazine for homeless/jobless in the UK.

There is this wrestle with guilt each time we pass and for me probably many times in a day but no one is capable of giving every time.

Oddly enough, I was thinking of writing a poem from the perspective of the non-giver with all the thinking processes entailed.

It is a deep deep problem which our modern world has failed to solve for a catelogue of reasons.Your poem helps to draw these issues out in cameo style. Well done.
