A strangers kindness,

don't underestimate it's importance.

Someone who takes the time,

to stop and listen,

outside of your world,

looking in.

 

Strangers of kindness,

you find them everywhere,

could be the elderly lady sat at the bus stop,

the checkout assistant,

someone you pass everyday,

yet don't know their name,

someone at the library,

the elderly gentleman sat on a park bench,

the young guy walking his dog,

even found at the doctors,

or the dentist !

Strangers of kindness,

there are plenty of them out there.

 

A few moments of their day,

to stop,

listen,

advise,

smile,

empathise,

and sometimes even a cuddle !

The time they give is so valuable,

especially admist this busy selfish world,

we all live in.

 

Once they've given their time,

you feel you can carry on,

and knowing they have helped,

they feel so much better for the rest of the day.

Strangers of kindness,

you really do find them everywhere.
