I may have passed away,

on this bitter winters day,

from your safe and loving home,

but ,

please don't cry too much.

You gave me love and trust,

a roof over my head,

walks till I could burst,

cuddles and grooming galore.

You showed me real love,

just how much you cared,

I couldn't have asked for more.

 

Keep my picture by your bed

and when you're sad,

remember the good times we had.

I know our time together was short,

but it was the best,

quality.

Now I'm with the angels,

running with the pack,

watching over you,

my master down on earth,

who gave me a home,

and a love second to none.

 

So try not to be so sad,

I'll guard you from heaven,

till we meet again,

your trusted canine friend.
