Building and hiding

God the extrovert

builds Saturn.

What a show.

What a show-off.

God the introvert

hides, slips away.

Slopes off.

God the extrovert

builds marvels, peacocks, eyes of flies, crystals

maybe because he/she can – they look great

but then

she stays holed up

still hiding.

God the ultimate extrovert

builds the whole fucking amazing universe

then

(the ultimate undercover introvert)

he hides, becomes fugitive far in,

further than quantum particles.

No digging or delving can deliver this Deity.

Disappeared down deep.

God the introextrovert

builds you

and says

“Peek-a-boo”.

A novel way to present eternal mystery. I salute HESHE or SHEHE: it makes no difference - ONE GOD IDEA.

I so enjoyed talking with you at Wigan last autumn. And thanks again for the ale. Happy New Year!

Enjoyed this, Dave.
The first couple of pages of Bill Bryson's "A Short History of Nearly Everything" are a real showstopper for me. You can take it as purely scientific or something more spiritual, the choice is entirely the readers.
Either way, once you've read those few pages it's very hard not to go on.

Dave,
Reproduction and enjoyment wise dead `fucking` true! (isn`t it great to actually use the word correctly?)

Mind, I reckon you`ve `sexed` your `Gods` opposite to what I would`ve.

but what the hell!)
