BBC writersroom is seeking five talented writers with professional experience to work in residence with selected NCH projects during their 'Growing Strong' campaign, which focuses on young people's emotional well-being, inner strength and confidence.

We are looking for writers with an interest in and commitment to working collaboratively with young people.

Residencies will be based in London, Glasgow, Belfast, Cardiff and Liverpool and it is expected that writers will be able to conveniently work in these cities for the duration of the residency.

Residencies will run for three months between January-March 2008. Selected writers will each receive a bursary of £3,000
