Fourpenny Circus poetry roadshow kicks off tour
The team that brought you Bunch of
Fives - ‘Intellectual Viagra!’ and ‘Should be at the Edinburgh Fringe’ -
returns with a new poetry spectacular. The Fourpenny
Circus comes to town with a Little Top full of poetic tricks.
GASP in amazement as they cut a poem in half without rhyme or reason,
WONDER at their verbal dexterity. REVEL in a show to make you laugh, blush and
think.
Cheshire poets laureate Jo Bell, John Lindley, Andrew Rudd and
Joy Winkler (directed by Kevin Dyer, Action Transport Theatre) kick off at
Neston (May 7) before touring the NW: Tattenhall (May 13), Great Budworth
(May 14), Runcorn (June 12), Liverpool (June 17), Knutsford (July 12),
Kendal (July 16) and Biddulph (July 23). Tickets around £5. For details and Autumn dates - www.fourpennycircus.co.uk.
