Vase

The flowers died

but the vase is still there

next to the faded photo

near to the mirror

above the bric a brac

close to the wine glasses

that are still there

in the cabinet

by the curtains.

The ordinary made extra-ordinary. A small parade of
passing time captured for us to contemplate and,
perhaps, identify with in our own lives.

Thanks very much. I wonder if one day there will be a scientific explanation for having things? Like...stone henge will be there when we are all gone, but so will some blue tack and a hair grip, two pence and a button, in a bowl, on a window sil.

I really like this.

Perfect example of the art of the ordinary.

The direction and movement of the camera is very good.
