19.04.2015 - 97) Another mornin’ an’ it’s still dark,

I’m leavin’ the motel car park

Eastern horizon hue, said “sunup weren’t due”

I can’t delay, got a long way to go today

Down the road I’m goin’ music on the radio flowin’

Now they day’s breakin’ good progess I’m makin

Runnin’ down the 87 runnin’ in another country music heaven

 

 98) On the skyline in lines, wind turbines

Electricity generation for the nation

Clean energy the rule, not the burning of fossil fuel

 Is it the answer to our prayer, no more damage to the ozone layer?

An’ I got may radio on, an’ when again I look upon

The turbines something seems different with ‘em

They seem to be turning to the music’s rhythm.

 

99) Run back to Austin gone ok usual stops on the way

Early start played a good part

Quiet roads on which to run, give the engine some gun

But no time for relaxin’ or chidin’

Keep within the limit, you don’t know of the cops are hidin’

In a lay-by, behind a bush to catch the unsuspecting in a rush

So be aware drive with care, you bet, I ain’t been caught yet

An’ if I watch how I go it won’t be so.

Five and a half hours on, I’m nearin’ Austin on the skyline it’s appearin’

But not the end of today’s roam back in my spiritual home

Cos’ I got to take the road that leads, to Burnett and Recycled Reads

 

100) We were joined by Thom and Bob, it seemed just the job

But the prose seemed to go on and on,

I looked at Bob and to sleep he’d gone

Thom too had gone, the bookshelves to look upon

Now long work maybe, ok for some but not for me

I’m going after my next set of three

Cos’ I’ve just felt in my pocket to find

I’ve gone an’ left my wallet behind.

 

101) Kick Butt still going despite disruption

Caused by internal extension construction

So they can get in more

Folks to listen, even sing or recite their latest score

Bigger audience and bigger cast, really should be a blast

But we gotta perform and make tonight a “Wow”
