Financial Support For This Site
I'm up for paying some kind of fee to be a member on this site. It's only right and proper, since we get to promote ourselves to such a wide audience. Think about how expensive this would be if we didn't have W.O.L. I know, I cannot afford it either!
Some ideas:
1) £25 membership per annum
2) A monthly fee of a couple of quid
3) Increased rates/payments dependant on how many submissions to the site are made, or how much "space" you take up with your C.V or/and blogs
4) £1 per gig/show advertised?
Just some ideas.
I feel as strongly as Pete Crompton does on this matter and I will be donating anyway, even if any of the above are taken on. I'm saving for a wedding too, so we can all donate our "two coins".

Yes - I think some kind of fee is a good idea. How it is administered is a difficult one. It needs to be paid by people using the site regularly. You wouldn't want to put new people off joining because it is only after getting into the site that you realise how much fun it can be. Maybe the back room boys could devise a way of mailing regular users asking for a contribution.
