You'll know when it's over

You'll know when it's over. You'll feel it good and well in your heart. But if you're really over him as he is you, you'll want to see him happy, and that's okay... we grow apart. He will no longer look at you as if he sees the sun in your eyes. You'll more so just be something, someone, to pass time. You won't feel love through his fingers as he grazes your lonely skin, but more so, a Strangers hand that lurks within. He'd rather touch and look at his phone than you; who's awake, what's there to do. His passive aggressive comments, insults, and anger no longer bother you. He pushed you away, what else would you do? You're both just comfortable, but you both know it's over. Let's cut to the chase, because I no longer want to be your vase of dead flowers.

This puts in my mind of a quote I once heard about the difference between like and love. When you like a flower you cut it and put it in a vase. But, when you love a flower you water it!
I love the line, "He will no longer look at as if he sees the sun in your eyes".
