Hillsborough ll

Hillsborough Inquest report due within the hour. Regardless of its conclusions no person will be found guilty as in a Crown court.

In no particular order here are some of the conclusions that I have drawn:

1) Architects- who have designed the ground and its access: GUILTY
2) Town planners who have passed the design: GUILTY
3) FA officials who agreed to use the Leppings Lane end of the ground to be used by Liverpool supporters: GUILTY
4) Police chiefs who also passed that use of Leppings Lane end: GUILTY
5) Police officers who formed a human barrier to 'prevent' Liverpool fans from attacking Nottingham Forest fans: GUILTY
6) Police officers who stood and watched the dying as they lay on the ground: GUILTY
6) Ambulance staff who stood and watched the dying as they lay on the ground: GUILTY
7) The media including the BBC who readily blamed Liverpool fans for the cause of the disaster: GUILTY
8) The Conservative government for complicity in the cover-up of the facts: GUILTY
9) The police for the changing of police officer's reports: GUILTY
10) The Coroners for lying re the cause and timing of the 96 deaths: GUILTY
11) Liverpool fans for not knowing how to apply emergency first-aid to the dying: NOT GUILTY.

this is not a complete list

After all the rhetoric, copy inches, TV coverage, radio tributes, press conferences, bios, etc the one word I haven't seen mentioned is forgiveness! It's a shame there isn't room for it yet. It will need to come out before this sorry mess can be laid to rest.

Laura- I've been arguing all those points for over 20 years and all of my point have been validated. A sense of relief and anger emerges at the same time. As for a 'party' I'm a good boy tonight. :~)

Newberry- "j'accuse".

Jemima- I will have to disagree with you on one point, you are not an outsider. As someone once said " to fight injustice anywhere is to fight injustice everywhere :~)

well thought out opinion Tommy. Not too sure about a party though. And that is only my opinion as an outsider in this matter. But,if there is to be a party,I'm more than positive it will be joined by the folks from 'upstairs' Thank you.Jemima.

At least you should make an effort at poetry...even if it's
a lament. This is a "bill of indictment" more suited to a red
top newspaper.
