See Me

Invisible

I think I must be invisible

I am sitting here

You pass by

You don’t see me

I had your life once

A family

Friends

A place to live

But life just got away from me

So here I am

Why can’t you see me

I can work

I’ll try anything

But with no address

I don’t fit in your ordered life

Nobody can see me

Just a chance

That’s all I need

Why can’t you see me

That’s all I need

See me.

I really like this, Trevor. It must be how many homeless are feeling. Good stuff.
