They tell us Black Lives Matter

As if we didn't know.

Mobs maraud, burn and shatter

And what's there good to show?

Most of us get by without the need for guns and knives

That host of us who seek some valued meaning to our lives.

To these "activists": beware, your cause will lie in tatters

Unless you see we also know that Black Crime Matters.
