Spirit Feet
My soul has known depths
Of darkness far and near.
My heart races with passion,
Dedication,
The Spirit inhabits me
With it's gift of indefinable love.
I reach out to her to make her feel.
There is a glimmer,
A hope.
Her green eyes glimmer with a smile.
Her smile is gripping.
Magnetized by her presence,
I am summoned,
I am humbled.
God calls on me to drink
From the chalice of grace
As I am swallowed in the light of the Holy one.
He has given me this woman.
Her essence, one
Hard to find
From which I choose to love
Wholeheartedly until the moment our souls part,
Willingly...Unwillingly
God, The Son, The Spirit,
They give us not many chances to bathe
In the love of a woman
Whose joy is there.
She may lose it
From corner to corner.
But she knows the Spirit.
It is one with her.
We throw up in prayer,
A chance to conceive more years of love.
For ourselves,
And for the ones who carry our features.
Through you, God, we have it all.
Grace and Humbled we are
To you we send thanks
And shower the love of you
Upon others
Who may need your love.
Like four feet that started off small.
As the steps turn to stomps
We smile,
Knowing the Holy Spirit
Did us a favor or two
And in gratitude we offer thanks.
And to you my beautiful wife,
I love you.
