TAKE THE RAP

entry picture

this goes out to the B (bully) boy who didn't win....

let me express it like this:

you're someone who loves to diss,

a smart arse who takes the piss,

I'm here to tell you, you can kiss

my arse 'cos you're full of shit,

and I intend to highlight it

by calling you a nasty git, a

raging, jumped-up, pompous tit

who likes to throw his weight around,

with verbal weapons that aim to hound

people you'd see gagged and bound -

but the game's up, you've been found

out, you've walked into a trap,

and now you deserve a slap,

for spouting vitriolic crap, so

take the shame and take the rap.

I've cracked bigger nuts than you,

the anger you've got, I've got too,

so, here's what I suggest you do:

keep your beef for making stew.

want redemption? here's your chance

put some tunes on, start to dance,

shake that shit out of your pants, 'cos

we don't want your smart-arsed rants.

Thank you Frances for your kind praise of this piece.

And I like your dope rap lines!

I am a massive fan of music and rap/hiphop is a genre I am quite familiar with, although it is not my favourite.

Thanks again,

Paul

I need to qualify my laugh - it was more
than that, it was also a huge 'congrats' for
speaking a language most younger 'bullies' knew;
gives 'rap' the chance to actually get through...

Thanks Raj for reading this, glad it made you laugh. You've made some good comments about bullies and how to deal with them - very perceptive, Raj ?

And, yes, I was having a coffee, people watching, when this, almost rap, came into my head. I just had a bit of fun imagining powerfully standing up to a bully because, as we know, so many people find this difficult to do.

Frances, thank you too, for reading, glad it made you laugh!

Ha-ha-ha-ha. Better out that in Paul. Anyway, you got that venom off your chest. Ha-ha-ha.

Let me guess,.. you were sat by the window sipping your double espresso and this B look alike passes by. It triggered off something within you and you wrote this piece. People watching can be quite inspirational (wink, wink).

Truth is, bullies are insecure people. We all know this don't we? Once you stand up to them they crack.

Well done.
