Heaven bound and ground away they wish to be
Longing for the thermals to carry them beyond the horizon
Ever fearful of falling to the depths below
But never succumbing to force of gravity
The clouds wave as they pass by
Allowing them to pass unharmed
Chasing the sun so it never sets
Escaping the cloak of nightfall
They started small, unable to bear their own weight
Seeking the help of others to carry it through
A departure from the unknown regions
Searching for a new home to settle
And once they are awakened...
Have you ever seen the wings of a dream?

Thank you Juan, your words are much appreciated.
That line originally was the first line and even the title of the entry itself, however I felt moving it to the bottom and leaving the entry untitled made more of an impact.
I'm happy to hear someone liked it, makes me want to write more.
