Thirty

Welcome

I leave it at my door step

It looks sketchy

Your making my hormones go crazy

Having me out here with acne

Looking like I skipped over puberty

Going through a change, that’s all I can say

It's a reflection

Thought, I was beyond looking at my yesterday's

Cycle of life

Cycle of a women life

Its switching up

Like a man

That doesn't know himself

Thirty, you're a few days away

Step into this threshold, so I can get to know you

Cause you are the start to it all

A decade, a walk, a new chapter, and new thoughts

It will be a day for me

As everyone doesn't make it to the party

Going through life

You carry things in your pockets

Lint, change, dollars bills

And sometimes you lose change

And pull the lint out

to let your mind be free

You need space

For the bills

A change that you will find along the way

Thirty
