BEAT is a new & different kind of poetry night in Soho, London.
Situated in the becoming facilities of Peter Parker’s Rock n Roll Club, on the legendary Denmark Street in the heart of Soho, the night offers a pick of the greatest spoken word talent in London and the UK. So far the list of performers include: Dudley Sutton, Salena Godden, Gary Fairfull, Lana Citron, Tristan Hazell, Ant Phillips(Ant the Rant), Graham Buchan, Anne Brechin & Dan Cockrill. His list of previous performance nights include the Not Night at the Queen of Hoxton, recommended by Time Out, “one of the 5 best nights in London”, according to the London Paper. Glitterbeast - a poetry night in Hoxton that the BIG ISSUE called: “Dylan Thomas meets X-factor”, THISINOTABAR - a night time art gallery and No Strings Attached - an acoustic showcase at Bacchus, Hoxton Street.
