If Americans want to go on killing each other,

that’s fine.

It’s their choice.

The rest of the world will go on

not dying.

Or not as much,

by means of a gun.

Positions are entrenched,

or so I read,

and gun control

is perceived as gun ban.

To me the emphasis is on ‘control’.

With so many dying,

it is self-evidently not under control now.

There is an argument that criminals already have guns:

a valid point.

But you have to start somewhere

if you don’t want more headlines,

about school massacres,

mass shootings,

insanity.

Think about it.
