You Held Me With Your Tears
You Held Me With Your Tears
You played to all my fears
You held me with your tears
I'm trying to hold on
Even tho all love has gone
You bound me in your chains
Your love drove me insane
I tried to leave again
You held me with your tears
A moment in my life
I held you as my wife
It wasn't meant to be
I'm trying to break free
I caught your reflected smile
Still crying all the while
You played me like a harp
You broke my weary heart
You held me with your tears
Our child used like a weapon
The isolation that you threaten
Pulling my invisible cord
While screaming that you're bored
My feelings have all gone
I just can't carry on
I'm running on a wheel
My pain I can't conceal
I try to keep it real
The misery I feel
I beg you let me be
Why can you not see
I just want to be free
Don't hold me with your tears

An unique and excellent experience reading this, brilliant how you have re used the title so effectively emphasising the effect. What's the point of reading a long novel when you could read this a few times and get a more concise descriptive drama and meaning?Well done
