When souls get old and cannot walk
it raises an alarm
no longer do they have the strength
they need uplifting arms
Some stranger then will come along
to aid grandmothers who
are thankful for the kindness shown
for love, out of the blue.

Sometimes we get more than we give
that is what life is about
unexpectedly comes the kindest act
funny how it all works out.

Is true that sometimes you are shown kindness when you least expect it. (Also the opposite!) I have broken my arm, and have it in a large plaster cast. Everone now stops on pedestrian crossings!!!!! Unheard of here, where you have to really watch out for people phoning or texting or using internet etc. The only other time I have noticed this was when pushing a pram! Loved it.
