My Dad Said
My Dad said, shaking his head,
'Ah, Cynthia, I have to admit
You never make the same mistake twice.
But' - stroking his nose with eloquent fingers -
'You do seem to have an unlimited supply
Of originals!'

We learn from our mistakes don't we. And without being prepared to make mistakes we would never achieve anything.
I enjoyed this one

I can hear him saying this CBT. I think brief poems that make their point in only a few words are both brilliant and the most difficult to get right with such a small amount of material. this is bang on!
Hilarious and so very similar to something my dad would have said. ?

The best thing is when you think you've made a mistake, but it turns out golden! Love it.
