What I'm Allowed to Do (or should be able to)
I am a man and I'm allowed to talk to you
be nice to you
take an interest in what you like
what you don't like
and it just be that.
I'm allowed to do that even if you don't think so, m'lady.
You know why?
Because I'm a nice guy and I'm allowed to be that.
I can smile at you and say "hello"
and I'm just saying hello.
I'm not saying, "I want sex" or anything vulgar like that, and to be quite frank, I resent the fact that you think that. I mean, what gives you the right to make such an assumption of me? I'm a nice guy and I'm allowed to be nice. I am, and I'm allowed to be nice.
You know what?
I'm not going to bother, I'm not going to waste my time.
Because I'm allowed to
Because I'm nice
and you
are
not.

Just ran across this one. Different! Thought-provoking. What about sheer human inconsistency? Can nice guys really be nice every minute of every day for the rest of their lives?
