When Did My Mother Arrive?

A lighthearted reflection

When Did My Mother Arrive?

Looking in the mirror through bleary eyes,
I asked myself, when did my mother arrive?

I hear her voice calling my children 'love'.
Blimey, when did my mother arrive?

A reflection in a window, an expression on my face.
Crikey, when did my mother arrive?

My mother arrived with her smile, my smile.
My mother arrived when I became her child.
