Crime Story

Bad bad-boy

roaming the streets

looking for trouble

hardened by fisticuffs

then handcuffs

don't wanna attend school

don't wanna listen

he's got his tattooed pals

the gang that he runs with

makes crime look easy

till he gets caught

then it's I'm so sorry

I didn't mean it

cleaned up for the court

put on a suit

got a haircut

pleads for probation

begs for mercy

says he found Jesus

momma help me

bail me out

I won't ever do it again

-till next time.

The common thread - portrayed pointedly in this blog - is that the
the default system employs the word "sorry" when brought to book.
Somehow, it never features as the deed is being committed. How
interesting that politicians employ the same behaviour pattern!

A common enough story
'Twas he made me do it
I'm now asking court
For an obvious acquit ?
