Father
You ask if I believe in God...
How can I not?
To deny my Father
means I leave my existence
to some 30 year old predator
who impregnated a girl half his age
and left her to raise their child
in the wilderness, among wolves
that feed on loneliness and despair.
Without my Father, I would never know
that after suffering comes deliverance,
pain leads to compassion,
forgiveness breaks barriers to freedom,
hope is everlasting...
Respect for my Father is separate
from any religion.
Our love for each other is
unconditional.
He closes doors to protect me,
opens others providing opportunities
to make the most of His teachings.
Yes, I believe.
Even though I don't see Him physcially,
I feel His presence everywhere...
when I hear a beautiful song or
soulful sermon,
when I walk in a forest or
bask in the sun,
when I wish upon a star or
stand near the sea,
when I hug my children
or hold a newborn baby,
when I lend a helping hand
or one is extended to me,
when I pray,
when I dream...
My Father
doesn't miss a thing!

I am so glad that you have something to hold on to, and that you have the talent to be able to express your emotions so well.
Staying silent is like nurturing an insidious poison - keep writing -
keep talking.
