A toad sat in the road
a car came along and drove
o'er toad who then explodes
results, a messy road
Said toad was so reposed
never knew he was exposed
as we can now disclose
the toads part of road
As cars go to and fro
they don't see toad in road
the toad too dumb to know
he should have stopped, not goed
This story sadly shows
do not mix toads and roads
'cause when it comes to blows
toad ends up decomposed.

With the state of some roads these days, he should have visited
one of the pitted surfaces in need of repair and survived as a "toad in the hole".
