So Lay Me Down.

In the vastness of these feelings

I am fast approaching love.

In a manner of speaking

I am undoubtedly undone.

In the strength of his heart beat

I find the pace of my own quickening.

In the vastness of these feelings

I am fast approaching love.

His kisses send me into the abyss

In his arms I drown in his warmth.

In a manner of speaking

I am undoubtedly undone, for once.

◄ Famously Comparing.

This is another good one...again it's simple and very well-controlled. The repetition adds to the devotional mood of the piece - like a prayer or a chant.

I too liked this a lot although I would have liked the repetition at the end to mimic that at the beginning. A sort of wrapping up and affirmation. Good words though Georgina!

G - I liked this. It has, what is for me, the essential quality of poetry - rhythm
I also enjoyed the repetition, almost a circularity.
