The Monster

She  was born from a parent
who left her at a young age
to be raised by a monster.

This monster created
such fear and depression
for this poor young girl.

The monster she feared
was there everyday waiting
for when she got home
or for when she woke.
The monster she didn't love
broken her down far too much
that even a thought of it
or the thought of being home
would make her panic.

Blink

(‘Ask me why and I’ll spit in your eye’ - The Smiths)

Pinch the rogue flesh slipping from my jeans,
Dig each thumb and forefinger into my hand,
Scratch me with that caress and turn when I blush,

Read not of the bitterness that splits the skin.
Write not of the malice that shatters the bone.

Reason with the ...

Recurring Nightmare

I dreamt I killed, then buried deep,
The memories that slighly seeped,
Like pricking pins in eyes that saw
Me hurt, then kill, then hurt some more.

When I awoke I did not know,
If the cellar parts were true or faux,
My parts were there, sure,
Tacked to brick,
To prick,
To prick,
To prick.

Her & Bear

They played, they cuddled they had such fun

They’d sing and dance and laugh and run

And then one day she met a boy

Who wished to take care of her toy

She loved that boy with all her heart

She always thought they’d never part

The boy was mean he hurt the bear

He k...
