You Have A Voice
One day this education,
Will create a quite beautiful nation.
A nation of understanding intellectuals.
A nation accepting of homosexuals.
They will see that this world's hate,
Is not of one's choice, but merely of fate.
Ask the lesbians and the gays,
They will tell you it is not "just a phase."
God's tears soar through the air,
Inside we all know that this is not fair.

Sorrow
One cold winters day,
In a place not too far away.
A friend is living a lie,
forever telling me she wishes to die.
She lives in pure hell,
Although nobody is able to tell.
She says she is "done"
Although she has sure fooled everyone.
Although she cannot fool me.
I've had the luxury to listen and see.
Things started looking better.

It's cold and confusing.
A bomb needing diffusing.
Strainging and stressful.
Though secretly blessful.
Her heart and soul are at war.
Depression growing like a sore.
A life filled of grief.
No hopes of relief.
