At Apple we are the very best
Techno-wise we can’t be beat
We’re cooler than all the rest
Unlike Samsung we don’t cheat..
Iphones, mac-airs and much more
Our products will blow your mind
Buy goods from the Apple store
The most expensive you’ll ever find
Money-wise there is no contest
Cupertino won’t be beat

Poetry People
With silent curse I said this all was verse
Not to be described as poetry.
Those arguments that I did rehearse
I now see as ones to disagree.
Free form’s for those of educated bent
But most of the time people love some rhyme;

Preferring an unstructured paradigm.
Where feeling is more and rhyme is abhorred
Rhythm is banned, as are meter and pace;

Butterfly Beauty
The silver-spotted skipper, that rarest butterfly,
Emerges from its cocoon in mid-July…to flutter… fly
Through the grasses deep upon the downland Heath.
Sheep’s-fescue thrives on chalk-filled soil, black and white, beneath.

The Picasso of music to the puzzling fan.
Your gravel voice was never strong,
But now it’s cracked beyon...

Celebrity
We met through a fleeting sideways glance;
You never spoke my name
Or dwelt on that accident of chance –
As if strangers we would remain.
A hurried look, shyness prevailed,
Your face defined for me to see
In future years of dreams concealed.
Our future writ in memory.
Your smile excites; my heart it thrills
As it has through all these years;
Makes me your slave, as love instills
A y...

Quiet Flows My Blood Tonight
Quiet flows my blood tonight
Discreetly coursing through my veins;
Beneath my chest there’s a quiet beat
Almost silent, rhythmic, steady, discrete.
It gently reminds that my heart sustains
My life. Thank God I’m alive, all right.
In rivers of red it flows,
An aortic pulse of capillaries, arteries
With platelets, cells of red and white,
Medical names such as lymphocyte
And other strange...
