Fractious minds

Words of rhyme
Life's syllabus
Etheric shell growns
Looming spirits recognize
Definition forming on the plane
Where thoughts intent travel
Sowing seeds of manifestation
Conscionious of spirit
One with material
Free of cognitive dissonance
Purpose is served
Glory shines through
Harmony of light purer

Spinning Our Wheels
Like a whirl wind of distruction
All you have held in anticipation
flying by you in a mess of attachment
unable to grasp
The scene is familiar
Only all is gone
You sink to the bottom of the ocean
awaiting your last sufficating breath
With the weight of the depth crushing you with every darkening thought
With your lights going out one by one
suddenly you awak...

The Harshness of Winter
The beginning of the winter months are the hardest:
Not for keeping the stove stoked
Not for keeping the roads plowed
Not for facing the cold to finish projects
Not for the long nights and short days
Not for the Icy trek to town
Not for the clarity of thought that at times I'd like to be without
Not for being strapped for cash to put presents under the tree
Not for walking ...

Where the Soul Meets the Floor
The time
The time has come again
upon his noble steed he rides
He holds something that no one else can seem to put their finger on
Non threatening boldness provokes curiousity
The ways of love woven through truth
Threads that women naturally have embroidered onto their central source of Being
Motion of seductive power
As feminine tend to gravitate
And the men puff thei...

The Doors are Always Open
The lines been walked many times along this road
A soaked, sopped, drenched soul
In the monsoons of war
A balance
Without One
Two no longer know
What war is good for?
Duality becomes encouraged
The conflict of mind emerges
The body purges
Leaving you cold and naked on the ground
Hope becomes a blanket
To grow the warming of your heart
A streng...

No Restraints
It's time to spit something out
The subtransuniversal spout
Time to shout!
No No No
Not quite yet
For you see the wheel is still in spin!
But if you would like to buy a vowel
Please give us your two cents
For you see
"we are merely players, performers, and potrayers....."
And
"ant it funny how the feelin' goes away...."
Like a bicycle illuding the clutches of g...

Where the Buffalo Roam
What do you do when the mountain has become a part of you
When the motions of the earth bring change to the stratisphere
Where the body aclimates in unison
Where the routine of oneness has only the notice of irregular change
While growing weary is only toward the end of season
Joy is renewed at the next season's beginning
Where Buttercups are the first to blume
Where the sprin...

A Stones Throw Away
What can I do when I am put between a rock and a hard place?
When there is a continuation of bullshit that won't subside
Silence and patience had already been prescribed
And when I know the fury I could unleash would have greater consequences
The ideal would be to remove myself from the persistant forces
I wish I could
A greater responsibility holds me
Sometimes the tension is...

Waiting For The Summer Rain
If I spoke of
sultry
seductive
sensations
That tickled up and down your spine
If I gazed into the timeless beauty of your eyes
And wispered softly "you're mine"
Would you believe me
If I said I was the LIzard King?

A Message To Send
what does betrayal look like?
can we bend someone to our will?
Do we dare to try?
If my arms were always wide open, would it mean a thing?
Do we hold the Power?
If we truely reached deep down inside ourselves and touched every bit of our pain and humbly honored our journey, paid tribute to our past, can you not see then, the warrior that is within us?
The ego is abolished
The...

Settling Our Affairs
If I questioned
I wouldn't have the answer
If I had the answer
I wouldn't question
A doubt at high noon
Forget the pace

Law of the Land
Trouble in the meadows
Trouble in the whirling pines
Blood on the grass
Scars of our minds
Impending assault
On borders once placed
A people of median
Fear to be erased
A tyrant behind his desk
Strategic possitioning
of Global Powers manifest
Doors that were once open
Now tightly locked
The hour is Midnight
of the Doom's Day Clock

A Holy Affair
subliminal endangerment
posterior impalement of our souls
convoluted by discredited scrolls
A melt down of the system
signed in blood
with our permission
the sanctity of silince lost
to the spoken word
peace not be heard
peace be forgotten
trauma bonded
a dance with Jonny Rotten
Hypnotized and mesmerized
looking in eyes of the demon on his crown

Words
Words of magnificiant splender written in verse
Words like magic casting a curse
Words of forgotten lore
Words of a slipped Tongue
Words sharpened like swords
Words of bleeding mercy to the court
Words you cannot abort
Words are spoken so they shall be
Words of suspicion shaking the ground at your feet
Words of mistrust to the unsuspecting mind
Words of disappointment...

Then and Now
Once when I was a boy
My brothers and I found a bundle of abandoned puppies
My parents to my satisfaction said I could keep one to call my own
I was never really good at naming things
so I referred to my dog as Yo
It takes some smarts in a animal to survive the mountains
I suppose I have always walked a line between a guiding parent with potential danger close at hand
